Original mixed media artwork.
The comfrey plant is an original linoprint which has been carved and hand-printed by Jennifer. The Emperor moths and scabious' are painted with watercolours on archival watercolour paper. These images are then cut out and added to the linoprint. Jennifer slices into the linoprint to then slide the watercolour pieces in. These images are then glued into position.
This unique process enables Jennifer to combine the two mediums and give her work the same entwined feeling that nature creates.
Paper size - 36.5 x 44 cm
The frame is not included.
